Description

Highlights

  • Handsome example that reportedly 'needs nothing'
  • Highly original example in 'collector's condition'
  • Accompanied by an impressive paperwork file
  • In current ownership for approximately four years
  • Will be sold with a fresh MOT

The Appeal

The Audi Quattro was a real market reset; a machine that redefined what was possible with permanent four-wheel drive and turbocharged power. The later 2.1-litre, five-cylinder examples are particularly well regarded for their improved torque delivery. They quickly carved out a reputation in the sports circuit, and remain a highly attractive, eminently drivable tourer today.

This 1985 example is finished in Tornado Red and has been in the current owner's care for approximately four years. The vendor describes it as being in collector's condition, noting that it would be difficult to find another example in such clean order. An extensive history file accompanies the car, and we're told that it's ready to drive away and be enjoyed, and will be supplied with a fresh MOT for the new owner.
