Description
KEY FACTS
- This E46-generation BMW M3 is an exciting and celebrated modern classic performance coupe, offered with desirable factory options.
- It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre ‘S54’ inline-six, delivering around 338bhp to the rear wheels via a six-speed SMG automated manual transmission with paddle shift.
- The odometer shows 90,231 miles from new.
- Please note: this car is being relisted as the previous winning bidder failed to conclude the transaction, and not because of any other issue.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
- It is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over a black leather-trimmed interior, punctuated by Titanium Shadow trim.
- It rides on a set of 19-inch ‘Style 67M’ diamond-cut alloy wheels, framing red brake callipers and fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tyres, reportedly fitted 700 miles ago.
- Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, Harman/Kardon audio, cruise control, Dynamic Stability Control, switchable sport mode, automatic air conditioning, a central media system, an electric sunroof, and electrically adjustable front seats with three-position driver memory.
- It has been fitted with Eibach front and rear anti-roll bars and Bilstein B4 OE-specification dampers.
- It is accompanied by three keys, dealership keyrings, and a large collection of service records, specialist invoices, receipts and historical documentation dating back through its 25-year history.
CONDITION
- Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
- Specific notes from the seller include: there are a few very minor stone chips on the front wings.
- MOT test history is shown via the button in the listing overview.
SERVICE HISTORY
- The car was most recently serviced in September 2026 at 90,164 miles by BMW specialist Darren Wood, when an ‘Inspection I’ was carried out, the valve clearances were adjusted, the coolant and brake fluid were changed, and the fuel filter and fuel pump were replaced.
- An SMG transmission system overhaul was carried out in April 2026 at 89,602 miles at Darren Wood BMW.
- New front track rod ends were fitted, followed by a chassis geometry setup by Track Torque Racing in York during 2026.
- The car was serviced in October 2025 at 89,410 miles by BMW specialist Element Performance, when an engine oil service, an Inspection II and a differential oil service were carried out.
- The VANOS system was overhauled in 2021.
- The seller states that in 2021 an underside restoration was carried out, reportedly by Hack Engineering, during which the rear axle carrier panel was reinforced, the previous protective coating was stripped, the underside was treated for surface corrosion prevention and refinished with a grey protective polymer coating, and the rear subframe, trailing arms, control arms and reinforcement braces were shot-blasted and powder-coated in gloss red, complementing the red brake callipers. Photos of the underside are available in the photo gallery.
- The seller states that the connecting rod bearings were replaced under a BMW recall at approximately 30,000 miles.
- The seller states that it has received a single-stage paint correction and has been maintained by a professional detailing company, and that it has been stored in a garage and connected to a CTEK battery conditioner when not in use.
